BILLING RULES
How billing weight works
1
Billing weight is whichever is greater — actual weight or volumetric weight
2
Volumetric weight = L × W × H (cm) ÷ divisor (usually 5000 or 6000)
3
Actual-weight-only ignores volume; half takes the average; full takes the greater
How volumetric weight works
Light but bulky cargo is billed by volume, and every lane has its own rule: full volumetric (take the greater), half volumetric (average of both, usually above a threshold) or none (actual weight only). Enter your dimensions and the right rule is applied for you.
Volumetric weight = L×W×H (CM) ÷ lane divisor (commonly 5000 or 6000), then compared with actual weight under that lane's full / half / no-volumetric rule.
Billing tips
